A BIG CITY ARTS DISTRICT IN THE HEART OF PITTSFIELD
Downtown Pittsfield’s arts district offers a rich diversity of culture, arts and entertainment. With the Barrington Stage Company, Colonial Theater and New Stage Theatre, the district has blossomed into a hub for live theatre, music, and the performing arts. Barrington Stage Company has gained regional and national recognition for its mix of drama and musicals that have won a number of prestigious awards. Many of these successful productions have gone on to Broadway and off Broadway.

Ferrin Gallery
Ferrin Gallery is a private gallery that presents changing exhibitions featuring contemporary art, photography and sculpture from throughout the region along with nationally known ceramic sculptors and studio potters.
Storefront Artist Project
The Storefront Artist Project is an association of local artists dedicated to bring artists and art-making to diverse members of the community, present innovative art exhibitions and installations, and provide non-traditional, visually accessible studio space for artists.

Berkshire Carousel
The Berkshire Carousel organization trains volunteers in the building of an authentic classical wooden carousel. The project involves Berkshire County residents who carve and paint the carousel figures and create the ride artwork.
