DESCRIPTION:Downtown Pittsfield\, Inc. and the Berkshire Athenaeum will continue the Downtown Pittsfield StoryWalk® of Ty Allan Jackson’s book “When I Close My Eyes” through Labor Day\, Monday\, September 6\, 2021. \n“When I Close My Eyes” is illustrated by Jonathan Shears\, and the StoryWalk® features a new Spanish translation by Rosalia Padilla. \n16 local businesses and organizations in Downtown Pittsfield are participating in the StoryWalk®\, and you can access a map and virtual tour at https://tinyurl.com/PittsfieldStoryWalk. Download the PocketSights app to follow the virtual walking tour on your GPS-enabled mobile device. (A list of locations is also included below.) \nDowntown Pittsfield\, Inc. and the Berkshire Athenaeum are excited to partner with CozQuest for a family-friendly Treasure Hunt along the StoryWalk® route from Saturday\, August 28 through Labor Day\, Monday\, September 6\, 2021. \nTo find some treasure with CozQuest while out on your StoryWalk®\, it’s simple: scan the CozQuest QR code at Dottie’s Coffee Lounge\, solve a puzzle\, and the location for your first treasure will open on a map. Follow the map\, find and scan the hidden QR code\, and enjoy your prize. The QR codes unlock treasure at local businesses. Find all of the QR codes anytime between 8/28 and 9/6 and you’ll be entered to win one of five limited edition “When I Close My Eyes” posters signed by the author\, and one Grand Prize Winner will also receive a tote bag full of library swag.
