SUMMARY:“A Taste of Downtown” – February’s Downtown Pittsfield Restaurant Celebration
DESCRIPTION:In February 2025\, Downtown Pittsfield\, Inc. will present “A Taste of Downtown” – a month-long Downtown Restaurant Celebration – in partnership with Mill Town Foundation. Nineteen restaurants and bars in downtown Pittsfield will be participating. \n  \n“A Taste of Downtown” will feature marketing efforts to highlight downtown Pittsfield’s local restaurants and restaurant owners and the Taste of Downtown Giveaway which will be an incentive for people to dine in local restaurants over the course of the month. \n  \nThe prize for the Taste of Downtown Giveaway will be 19 gift cards – one from each of the participating restaurants – a $500 value. Every purchase at a participating restaurant will count as one entry to win the prize package. Ask your server for the QR code to enter the contest at the time of purchase. There will be double entries when you dine on Monday through Wednesday\, and there is no limit to the number of entries per location. SUMMARY:10x10 Fire Dancing with Opal Raven
DESCRIPTION:Downtown Pittsfield\, Inc.\, in partnership with the 10×10 Upstreet Arts Festival and Mill Town Foundation\, will be bringing a special event to the 10×10 lineup on Saturday\, February 22! Opal Raven Cirque will perform a Fire Dance routine from 5:15 to 5:45 pm at the First Street Common. \nOpal Raven Cirque is a circus and sideshow performer based in Western Massachusetts. She’s known across New England and the Tri-State area for her “Danger Dame of the Flame” variety show. Also known as the Sword Queen of Gypsy Layne\, Opal showcases masterful sword spinning and daring prop tricks. \nBook-ending the Fire Show will be Berkshire United Way’s 10x the Fun from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church and 10 Minutes of Fireworks at 6 pm on the Common.
