SUMMARY:Playwriting Workshop with Melville descendant Elizabeth Doss
DESCRIPTION:Great\, great\, great granddaughter of Herman Melville and playwright Elizabeth Doss will lead writers in a week-long intensive playwriting workshop that will culminate in a public reading of scenes at the end of the process. Doss will employ a variety of techniques to encourage participants to maximize the theatrical possibilities of each word they type. The workshop will incorporate devising\, site-specific\, and play-based strategies in addition to story craft\, and playwriting nuts and bolts.
