Learn about the seasonal migrations of forest amphibians to woodland pools\, and how volunteers can help when salamanders and frogs need to cross roads on their breeding migrations. Other conservation considerations will be included as well. \nPresenter Laura Heady has 20 years of experience working on biodiversity initiatives in the Hudson River estuary watershed\, creating and implementing science-based outreach and technical assistance programs\, and developing partnerships and strategies to advance conservation planning. She is the Conservation and Land Use Program Coordinator at the NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program\, which she joined in 2006 through a partnership with Cornell University. Laura also manages the Amphibian Migrations & Road Crossings Project\, a volunteer program she created in 2009. She earned her MS degree in biology with an emphasis in ecology from Idaho State University and a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from Rutgers University. \n  \nWhat is Pittsfield Green Drinks?
