Brian Beckett\, Shaun Harmon\, and Autumn Phoenix have taken over the Framework gallery space with vibrant and artistic shots of Downtown. There will be a reception with the photographers on Sunday\, February 23\, 10 am to 12 pm\, at 437 North Street. \nFocus on Downtown will be on view Monday through Thursday\, 10 am to 2 pm\, February 3 through March 26\, by visiting the Downtown Pittsfield\, Inc. offices at 431 North Street. The offices will be closed on Monday\, February 17 for Presidents’ Day. \nDottie’s Coffee Lounge\, 444 North Street\, will feature an art exhibit and Domingo Brunch on Sunday\, February 23 from 10 am to 12 pm. \nDomingo Brunch will feature live music from Amy Attias and Dave Christopolis from 10 am to 12 pm. Amy Attias is a classically trained violinist and vocalist\, and Dave Christopolis is a bass and guitar player who writes Tom Waits-like originals. The pair will be playing Dave’s original songs along with cover tunes. \nThe Dot Gallery at Dottie’s Coffee Lounge will be showcasing the work of three area artists: Edward Acker (photographs)\, Jesse Tobin McCauley (paintings)\, and Tina Van De Water (paintings). Cara will read her first book\, “Fairy Slippers\,” as children enjoy a free Fairy Tea Party. Refreshments and snacks provided. There will be an opportunity to meet Cara as well! \n\nThe StoryWalk® of Cara Peckham-Krol’s “Fairy Slippers: Molly Saves the Bees” will then be posted in a dozen downtown locations for all to enjoy\, April 19 through May 31! \n\nThis event is held as part of Downtown Pittsfield\, Inc.’s Downtown Celebrates Spring\, sponsored in part by The Feigenbaum Foundation. \n\nThe StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier\, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
