Apply for the Family Fun Zone in Downtown Pittsfield as part of First Fridays at Five

The Family Fun Zone at First Fridays at Five features free, interactive activities from local non-profit organizations such as face-painting, arts & crafts, games, and more. You must be a non-profit organization to apply. The activity you offer must be an interactive family activity (there must be an activity – not just a giveaway) and the activity must be offered to all free of charge. Be prepared to see hundreds of children and families.

There will be a Family Fun Zone from 5 to 8 pm on May 1, June 5, August 7, and September 4, 2026 outside on North Street.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. Spots are limited. Participation in the Family Fun Zone is free. The organizers of First Fridays at Five reserve the right to reject any organization or activity that is not a fit. Please be prepared to answer questions about your activity after your application is received.

Apply to be a First Fridays at Five Vendor in our Makers Market

The Makers Market at First Fridays at Five features local artisanal vendors who make their own handmade products such as crafts, clothing and accessories, candles, art, custom gift items, self-care items, and packaged foods and sweets.

There will be a Makers Market from 5 to 8 pm on on May 1, June 5, August 7, and September 4, 2026 outside on North Street.

$40 per month if you pay as you go.

$120 for the whole season of 4 if you pay in advance ($30 per month).

Vendors are responsible for their own tables, tents, and set-up. No food trucks or resale products will be accepted.

The organizers of First Fridays at Five reserve the right to reject any vendor who is not a fit for this market. Spaces are limited.

Payment is required upon registration. No vendor will be allowed to set up at the market if they have not paid in advance.

Apply to be a First Fridays at Five Food Truck

Pittsfield’s First Fridays at Five is looking for food trucks that will compliment but not compete with the food offerings in the Downtown.

$40 per month if you pay as you go.

$120 for the whole season of 4 if you pay in advance ($30 per month).

Vendors are responsible for their own set-up. No electricity is available. To be considered, participants must already be registered with the City of Pittsfield Health Department and must fill out their own permits.
