The City Departments of Public Services and Community Development will be leading this meeting.
Agenda:
1. Updates from the City on parking
Electric Car Charging Stations
Columbus St Parking Garage Update
Metered parking update
2. Breakout session with 3 groups
Group 1 – Downtown Parking Problems
How well the parking meters are working?
What problems are you hearing about?
Group 2 – Downtown Parking Changes
What current meters should be changed/eliminated?
Should we move on to other streets and/or municipal lots?
Should we move forward with adding metered parking on the new surface lot at Columbus?
Group 3 – Education/Marketing
Any marketing ideas for parking meters?
Any parking signage improvements for metered parking?
Any wayfinding signage improvements?
3. Report back from each group and conclusion
