“Art and Music Sunday on Upper North”
A 10×10 Upstreet Arts Festival collaboration
Sunday, February 23, 10 am to 12 pm
Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. presents an Opening Reception for Focus on Downtown, a brand-new photography exhibition at Framework by Downtown Pittsfield, Inc.
Dottie’s Coffee Lounge presents Domingo Brunch with Amy Attias and Dave Christopolis, and Edward Acker (photographs), Jesse Tobin McCauley (paintings), and Tina Van De Water (paintings) at The Dot Gallery.
Focus on Downtown (on view February 3 through March 26) features three Berkshires-based photographers who will show you Downtown Pittsfield through their lens. Brian Beckett, Shaun Harmon, and Autumn Phoenix have taken over the Framework gallery space with vibrant and artistic shots of Downtown. There will be a reception with the photographers on Sunday, February 23, 10 am to 12 pm, at 437 North Street.
Focus on Downtown will be on view Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm, February 3 through March 26, by visiting the Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. offices at 431 North Street. The offices will be closed on Monday, February 17 for Presidents’ Day.
Dottie’s Coffee Lounge, 444 North Street, will feature an art exhibit and Domingo Brunch on Sunday, February 23 from 10 am to 12 pm.
Domingo Brunch will feature live music from Amy Attias and Dave Christopolis from 10 am to 12 pm. Amy Attias is a classically trained violinist and vocalist, and Dave Christopolis is a bass and guitar player who writes Tom Waits-like originals. The pair will be playing Dave’s original songs along with cover tunes.
The Dot Gallery at Dottie’s Coffee Lounge will be showcasing the work of three area artists: Edward Acker (photographs), Jesse Tobin McCauley (paintings), and Tina Van De Water (paintings). The show is on view during Dottie’s regular business hours through the end of March.
“Art and Music Sunday on Upper North” is presented by Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. and Dottie’s Coffee Lounge in partnership with Mill Town Foundation.
