DLE Breakfast Club: Leveraging Informational Interviews for Career Success
April 22, 2022 @ 7:00 am - 8:00 am
Ever wish you could pick the brain of a leader in your field? Wondering what’s the best way to score an informal conversation with someone who has your dream career? The answer is a career development tool that often goes underutilized: informational interviews.
This topic will be explored by leadership expert Roberta Gasbarre of the Smithsonian Institution in a moderated, open discussion on Leveraging Informational Interviews for Career Success at the DLE Breakfast Club virtual program on April 22, starting at 7 am.
Roberta leverages decades of cultural and arts-based education leadership to share her expertise about how informational interviews can boost your career or entrepreneurial goals, how to begin this process and what types of questions to ask (or not). Learn how to follow up after the conversation ends and how to respond when you are the recipient of an informational interview request.
An influential force in the realm of museum theater, Roberta considers mentoring interns–including guiding them in setting up informational interviews–to be a highlight of her career.
The program runs an hour. Registration is limited to 20 participants to promote active networking and participation.
There is no fee to attend, thanks to the sustained sponsorship of Dulye & Co. workplace culture and engagement consultancy based in the Berkshires.
