Free Kids’ Paint & Sip as part of 10X The FUN!

Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. (DPI) will host a Free Kids’ Paint & Sip sponsored by First Fridays Artswalk, Downtown Pittsfield, Inc., and the Mill Town Foundation on Saturday, February 25, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at the Common Room in the Zion Lutheran Church, 74 First Street, as part of 10X The FUN. This free Paint & Sip is best suited for ages 5 to 12, although younger and older children are welcome. All materials, instruction, snacks, and juice will be provided. Children are welcome to drop in anytime over the course of the event, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is held in partnership with the Berkshire United Way’s 10X The FUN and the City of Pittsfield’s 12th Annual 10×10 Upstreet Arts Festival.

The Berkshire United Way’s 10X The FUN is a free, family event on Saturday, February 25, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at the Common Room in the Zion Lutheran Church. Other activities include a Black History Month project with TG’s Clubhouse, a prize wheel with Girls Inc., a photo booth by 18 Degrees, free books handed out by the Berkshire United Way, face painting by Taconic High School students, arts and crafts, and more. Local musician Mike Duffy will provide musical entertainment and there will be snacks.

Other organizations joining 10X The FUN include Child Care of the Berkshires, Berkshire County Kids’ Place, Berkshire Diaper Project, Berkshire County Head Start, and the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office.

10 Minutes of Fireworks on The Common sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union will follow this event at 6 pm and must be viewed from the First Street Municipal Parking Lot.
