Live pottery demonstration with Jim Horsford 

Jim Horsford will be hosting a free live pottery demonstration at Palace Park from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, May 3rd during the First Fridays at Five!

Jim will be inviting individuals to help him make pots on the potter’s wheel, and his creations will be available for purchase.

Jim spent 30 years as an art teacher at Herberg Middle School from 1978 to 2008. Currently, he teaches pottery on the wheel at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts where he has been since 2000.

First Fridays at Five is a brand-new event led by the City of Pittsfield and Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. taking place in downtown Pittsfield from May-September. A portion of North Street and School Street will be closed during the event.
