Saturday, November 27, 9 to 10 am in Downtown Pittsfield

This year in conjunction with the City of Pittsfield and the sponsorship of MountainOne, the Thankful 5K will be held in downtown Pittsfield on Small Business Saturday!

The event is free; however, participants (and spectators) are encouraged to purchase a $25 Thankful Hat with their registration. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our local Pittsfield Food Pantries.

Thankful Hats are $25 and can be purchased from the Berkshire Running Center at 34 Depot Street or by clicking here.  (You do not have to enter or attend the race to purchase a hat.) MountainOne will donate an additional $5 for every hat sold!

Thanks to the City of Pittsfield the event has a new fast and fun course, beginning and ending on Depot Street. A great fast run down North Street to Wahconah Street and back twice.

Downtown Businesses will be offering special deals to those wearing their Thankful Hats on Small Business Saturday:

101 Restaurant & Bar – Thankful 5k Bloody Mary for $5 (Opens at 6:30 am and will remain open through lunch that day.)

Dottie’s Coffee Lounge – Free drink of your choice with the purchase of a $25 gift certificate. (Opens at 8 am)

Hot Harry’s – Free coffee with purchase of a Breakfast Burrito (Opens at 8 am)

The Spot – 10% off the bill (Opens at 8 am)

Marketplace Café – Half-priced hot drink off the drink menu (Opens at 10 am)

Thrive Diner – Free beverage with purchase of $15 or more (Opens at 11:30 am)
